Thursday 24th June 2021
My dear people,
I hope that you are all well and keeping safe.
We received wonderful news indeed yesterday that the number of people able to attend Mass has been increased to 1 person per 4 sq meters. This means that we are able to have 137.5 people in our church. I have decided to make it 137.
Please visit our website https://www.stcatherinecarolinesprings.org.au/ to book your seat to attend Mass. Although the number of people who can now attend Mass has increased, we must continue to use the online booking system. However, it will only be for the two Vigils on Saturday and the three Sunday Masses. Please make sure you book before attending as your registration will enable us to ensure we comply with the regulations. Please be advised that you will also need to scan the QR Code when coming into the church. Then, kindly proceed to the table to check your name off.
Those without internet/computer access or who find the online booking system too complex can call the office on 8361 9822 to book a seat.
Bookings for the two vigil Masses on Saturday 26th June and the three Sunday Masses on 27th June have already opened. We will increase the capacity to 137 and will close two hours prior to the start of Mass. We await further announcements on what will be allowed after that.
With this increase in the number of people there will be no live streaming of Mass. I appeal to all of you, if you have booked and you later find out that you are unable to come for Mass, please be considerate and cancel your booking so that others have the opportunity to attend Mass.
I look forward to seeing all of you this weekend. May I remind you to please arrive at least half an hour before Mass starts in order to scan the QR code and check your name off the list. Let us continue to be kind and patient with each other as we place our trust in the Lord that we will get through these challenging times safely and soundly.
Yours sincerely in Christ,
Fr Richard Rosse PP

Two super exciting bible studies will be starting in the parish next week.
1. JESUS: THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE is a 10 week course that will run fortnightly commencing on Tuesday the 22nd of June at 7:30pm in the church meeting rooms. This course provides us with an opportunity to explore the life of Jesus in a deeper way through the Gospels and draws upon Jesus' fulfilment of the old testament in the hope that we can come to know him better and love him more. To register, please click here: https://www.trybooking.com/BSGNS
2. UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF THE BIBLE is an 8 week course that will run weekly commencing on Thursday the 24th of June at 7pm in the church meeting rooms. This course makes reading the bible approachable and simple as it follows the one story of salvation history. To register, please click here: https://www.trybooking.com/BSGMZ
These studies will give you an opportunity to continue on your faith journey and the fellowship that have already begun. This journey is not meant to be walked alone so come and share your life with others!

Motus Christi is an invitation for us to experience Christ’s movement within us, to manifest this pesonal encounter with God in our daily life, to believe and hope in our Heavenly Father and to be inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit.
It is organised and conducted thru the initiative of the Idente Missionaries (Institute Id of Christ the Redeemer), a Catholic congregation whose charism is holiness. This was founded by Fernando Rielo in Tenerife, Spain.
Motus Christi is a call to everyone – to people of all backgrounds, ages and varying stages of faith.
Through an emphasis on the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation, prayer and daily reading of the New Testament, participants are motivated to undergo a radical change and transformation towards a life of holiness.
Teachings on subjects like The Lord’s Prayer and the Beatitudes have moved the participants into deeper reflection.
It is conducted online via Google Meet every fortnight on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
